Background: Pt(II) meso-Tetra(4-fluorophenyl)tetrabenzoporphyrin is a synthetic porphyrin specialty chemical manufactured by Frontier Specialty Chemicals. Pt(II) meso-Tetra(4-fluorophenyl)tetrabenzoporphyrin displays highly efficient room-temperature NIR phosphorescence, with improved photostability and utility in oxygen sensors.1 Pt(II) meso-Tetra(4-fluorophenyl)tetrabenzoporphyrin was used for non-invasive Real-Time Oxygen Biosensing in Two- and Three-Dimensional Microfluidic Cell Models.2 Platinum (II)-meso-tetra (4-fluorophenyl) tetrabenzoporphyrin has peak absorption at 430 and 614 nm and peak emission at 733 nm.3
