Background:Pd(II) Mesoporphyrin IXÂ is a naturally derived porphyrin specialty chemical manufactured by Frontier Specialty Chemicals. Pd(II) mesoporphyrin IX was used to produce an organogel for low power light upconversion.1 Pd(II) mesoporphyrin IX was used to produce a Zr-MOF for sensitized photon upconversion.2 Pd(II) mesoporphyrin IX, a luminescent compound was used to produce a pressure sensitive molecular film.3,4
