Background: Co(II) meso-Tetra (2,4,6-trimethylphenyl) porphine is a synthetic porphyrin specialty chemical manufactured by Frontier Specialty Chemicals. Co(II) meso-Tetra (2,4,6-trimethylphenyl) porphine is a catalyst for the intramolecular ring closing C-H amination of azides.1 Co(II) meso-Tetra (2,4,6-trimethylphenyl) porphine was used as a catalyst for intermolecular C-H amination using bromamine T.2 Co(II) meso-Tetra (2,4,6-trimethylphenyl) porphine has been investigated as a catalyst for living radical polymerization.3-5 Co(II) meso-Tetra (2,4,6-trimethylphenyl) porphine is a catalyst for the C-H arylation of benzene.6
